Every Sunday morning at 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM and during the week small groups connect people for Bible study, fellowship and service. Both hours on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM provide Bible Study for Adults. Child care is available during all worship services.

The Quenched Bible Study Class provides a wonderful opportunity for young adults to come together in fellowship and deepen their understanding of God’s Word. We offer a place where college students and young professionals can grow in their faith through reading and discussing scripture. You can expect to gain wisdom, encouragement, lots of laughter and a new understanding of what it means to dig into God’s word. Quenched creates an environment where individuals can ask questions and learn what it means to really connect with God. Quenched will help you gain a new perspective within the stories you’ve probably heard a thousand times. The group strengthens not only personal relationships with God but also builds a hunger to learn about God’s heart. We meet Sundays at 11 am in room 217, where we enjoy a good sense of community as we read, pray and grow together in Christ.

Stitchers for Jesus Ministry

The Stitchers for Jesus Ministry is a group of women who sew, knit, crochet and make hats with looms. These items are sent locally and worldwide, going with mission groups, to orphanages, children’s homes and also with ministries that serve children with needs.
 
Some of the items made include girls’ dresses, boys’ shorts, baby and child hats, quilted blankets and afghans. Along with things made for babies and children we make adult bibs, walker tote bags and lap blankets for residents that are homebound or in assisted living or nursing homes.  One lady in our group makes cloth dolls that go to children around the world. 
 
We craft these things at home and have a monthly meeting where we bring in the items. In our prayer time we intercede for those who will receive these things, as well as for each other’s burdens, needs and blessings. Stitchers is another way Trinity can “Worship-Connect-Serve” in a smaller group setting. We know each other well and look forward to meeting and sharing ideas about sewing etc. and updates on things we have prayed for.  The ladies are talented and love to work with fabrics and yarns.
 
This spring we have also helped Kellee in the children’s department with a preteen summer camp mission project. We made “wreath kits”; strips of cloth fabric that will be used to make door wreaths for nursing home/assisted living residents (400 of them!). We are already working on the shoe bags that will be given out in September for First Blessing…about 550 shoe bags for the big day!
 
Does this group sound like a place where you could work and serve the Lord? We are happy to have new people join in and help us. It is a great ministry and fellowship group.

Ladies, if you have not been a part of a Bible study group lately, or maybe have never been in a group study, now is a good time to jump right in! Trinity Baptist has a wonderful Women’s Bible Study program for women of all ages! At present, there are approximately 150 women who meet weekly to study God’s Word. There are seven groups who meet on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 and two groups who meet on Thursday evenings, one at 6:00 and one at 6:30. Childcare is available for the Wednesday morning sessions by reservation.
 
Recently we have studied Joy of Living’s study of Esther led by April Payne and Joy of Living’s study of James, led by Debbie Williams. Starting in January of this year, we were amazed as Jennifer Rothchild led us through the study of the little book of Amos. Who knew it packed such a punch! And, we just wrapped up our semester with a sweet five chapter look into Psalms.
 
While 150 women can sound intimidating, remember that you would be a part of a small group, usually 15-20, who would meet to go over the week’s lesson. Your group would have a facilitator that leads your discussion and a prayer assistant who communicates prayer requests and announcements to that group. Those small groups usually become a band of sisters, surrounding you in love and support. Each group has at least one social during the study, and there is even one group who goes out to eat each week! After each small group discussion, there is a large group session, led by the main teacher of the study. This can be a video by authors such as Jennifer Rothchild or Priscilla Shirer, or one of our own Bible study leaders like Debbie Williams, April Payne, or Trish Wilson.
 
I hope by now that you are jumping at the bit to join one of our groups and be a part of this sweet fellowship! This is May, so just know that our groups will not meet during the summer but are eagerly anticipating our fall startup in September. Be looking in the church bulletins or check the church website, tbck.org, for dates and study topics. Come join us on our journey!

Curriculum is from Baptist G2 Press. This is an active group of “older and wiser” believers. Each is encouraged to use their Bible and study guide to apply the lessons to everyday life.

Well, our Jubilee class is something special, you can feel the warmth as you enter the room (yes, sometimes the actual temperature is a little warm!). Throughout the Bible, we read encouragement to continue in the Lord’s work regardless of our situation, including our health conditions or limitations such as less hearing ability, less walking capacity, less ability to digest our favorite foods.
 
However, you know what? Most of us are now at the age where we can view life around us seemingly with more compassion and understanding of what others, especially younger others, are going through in their lives. We believe that our biggest contribution is being prayer warriors for our church and for our individual class members.
 
My personal vision for our class is to see us become stronger prayer warriors for the teenagers and the young adults in our church. We can prayerfully lay the burdens of our young people on the altar, keeping them covered in the blood as they walk through these confusing times of their lives and of this world. If you know some young person who needs more prayer coverage, please notify us through direct contact with me or through JD.
 
Youth are not just the future of the church; they are part of the now church. Thank you for investing in discipleship! ~~JD
 
Oh, yes, we also try to go somewhere for lunch once in a while following the 11:00 service. Our special places are those with good access to parking!
