— Welcome!

We are followers of Christ, a family of believers, celebrating freedom in Christ.

Trinity Baptist Church is a place where life means walking side by side with the creator and each other as you fulfill the purpose you were created for. It is a community where you will encounter spiritual truths and wrestle with questions in a safe and welcoming community. Come join in what is happening at Trinity Baptist Church!

Christology: The Person of Christ Historically & Theologically

TrinityU Sunday Evenings
5:00 – 6:15 PM
Sep 8 – Oct 13

Christology is the study of the nature and work of Jesus Christ. This session focuses on both

a.) how the earliest Christians thought about Christ and

b.) Christ’s role in the Trinity.

It begins with the foundations of early Christology and finishes with discussion of how several Christological themes appear today. Emphasis will be placed on the development of doctrine and the practical implication of such thinking for the church. The readings for discussion (including selections from Dietrich Bonhoeffer) require diligence, but are not overly academic. 6-weeks, reading material provided. Help us plan for needed materials by calling Gina at 830-895-0100

“Celebrate with us the joy that we have because God Sent His son to the Earth, not that we would know about Him, but that we would receive Him.”

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
-John 1:12 (NIV)
