TrinityKids
The ministry to children, and by the children, of Trinity Baptist Church reaches beyond the walls of the church and into the surrounding community. Through children and families future generations are drawn closer to Christ and a saving relationship with Him.
We desire for children to know they created by God and made for a purpose. We provide building blocks for kids to learn about Jesus and support for parents to help kids come to Christ. Opportunities for them to grow in their relationship with Christ come through Bible study classes, mission service groups, and intentional Christ-centered care.
Our classes are growing as children are returning. We are creating new classes/groups to better meet the children were they are in their development to lead them to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Kid’s Camp – July 2025

Summer means Church Camp for Kids. YEA!
Cabins are full of wooden bunk beds with very thin mattresses……BUT, every bunk holds a child whose eternal rest is dependent on establishing a relationship with Christ. The showers have shower heads that spray in every direction except where they should……BUT, in every shower is a sponge-like kid soaking up Bible truths throughout the week. It’s hot and the campers swarm around from activity to activity like the ants that I found in my shorts……BUT, all those crafts and swimming and games and horses ridden and arrows shot have given a child either confidence in their abilities, or the opportunity to explore and try something out of their comfort zone. Yes, the Worship music is loud and fast and the kids stand on chairs and jump around……BUT, I see young believers learning to Praise the Lord with their whole hearts and bodies. Then, when their energy is spent for maybe 15-20 minutes, they can focus their mind on prayer and God’s Word being shared by the camp pastor.

Attention – Salute – Pledge

by Derenda Dickey
Do those three words stir memories in you? I hope the memory is of Vacation Bible School. VBS is quickly approaching and will take place on June 9-12. Our church will be buzzing with over 100 children and a multitude of adult and youth workers.
I’m praying memories are created in the children that attend which will last a lifetime and perhaps into eternity. Some will be in a church building for the very first time. Some will attend to give their parents a short summer break. Some will come just to hang out with their friends. No matter the reason, God can use the opportunity.
Doing crafts, singing, learning about missions, learning Bible stories, gym time, and of course snacks are all part of each day. The days go quickly as the classes move from activity to activity. I was amazed last year at how fast each day passed and the joy I felt watching the children be excited about God.
How can you help?
- Pray. Pray for children to meet Jesus and begin a personal walk with Him.
- Volunteer: all of the prior mentioned activities have helpers plus the family leaders.
- Give: your time, your talents, your love, food for snacks, craft supplies.
Ask Kellee and she will help you rekindle the fire of your little light at VBS.
Let it shine!

Children’s Ministry – May 2025

May '25

We are gearing up for a wonderful summer of ministry which includes VBS, Kids Camp, Mini Kids Camp and more. We will open registration for VBS on May 1st and kids can still sign up for our camps.
We have opportunities for adults to serve in various capacities. We are needing two adults to help support our teachers in our classrooms as well as needs for substitute teachers. If you’d like to join us in ministry, please feel free to contact me.
On a personal note, a huge thank you for all the cards, notes, hugs and words of encouragement over the last few months after losing my Mom. I’m so grateful to have a church family that is so supportive.
Thank you! Kellee

Kid’s Camp 2025

Kids’ Camp is something many of our kids love because it combines fun, learning and community in a unique way. I love the safe and nurturing environment. Knowing we are in an environment where values are important and personal growth is encouraged, we often experience a deeper connection with our faith at camp. Through Bible lessons, worship and prayer, we learn more about God and how to live out our beliefs in a supportive environment. Kids’ Camp is the beginning of our journey to find or enhance our faith. Camp is a beloved tradition that brings back great memories year after year.
Kids’ Camp offers a variety of fun activities like arts and crafts, swimming, games, and hikes. These activities are exciting and allows kids to build confidence and teamwork skills. Kids’ camp lets all of us escape the distractions of our everyday routines and allows us to focus on building on our faith, friendships and personal growth. Whether it’s learning a new skill, overcoming challenges or stepping out of our comfort zone, camps help kids build self-confidence. In short, kids’ camp offers a blend of fun, friendship, faith and personnel development, making it a special experience that many people treasure.
