The ministry to children, and by the children, of Trinity Baptist Church reaches beyond the walls of the church and into the surrounding community. Through children and families future generations are drawn closer to Christ and a saving relationship with Him.
We desire for children to know they created by God and made for a purpose. We provide building blocks for kids to learn about Jesus and support for parents to help kids come to Christ. Opportunities for them to grow in their relationship with Christ come through Bible study classes, mission service groups, and intentional Christ-centered care.
Our classes are growing as children are returning. We are creating new classes/groups to better meet the children were they are in their development to lead them to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Wednesday Night Kids will now be called D-Up Disciple Kids. Our new format will include Music, Missions, Discipleship & Recreation. We will begin the new format on August 19th and go from 5:30-7:00pm in the children’s area. Please bring the kids through the gym to the backdoor of the children’s area for drop off and pick up until the renovation to our area is completed.
The D-Up Disciple Kids are collecting pictures and thank you notes for Texans on Mission. The kids will be putting an album together and we’d love for you to write a thank you note for the Texans on Mission as they have served our community throughout this last year, as well as continuing this fall. If you have any pictures of Texans on Mission serving our area, please email them to kparish@tbck.org. We hope to fill this album of thanks before Thanksgiving to give to the leadership of Texans on Mission.
Mark your calendar for:
First Blessing (Shoe Ministry to kids in our area who need a little extra help). The date for this Ministry is Saturday, September 19th. We’ll need help in lots of areas, some of those include: cooking, serving, hosting tables, sock give away, feet measuring and shoe room. Let us know if you can help, and we’ll get your information to the Team Captains.
Parents, Pizza and Pumpkins will be a family fellowship on Monday, October 16th at 5:30pm. Be looking for more information in the coming weeks.

Summer is winding down and we are quickly getting ready for our Fall Programming. Here are a few highlights of what is coming up.
Wednesday Night Kids Ministry Program. I’m very excited for our Wednesday Night Kids Ministry which will include: Music, Missions, Discipleship & Recreation. We will begin the new format on August 19th and go from 5:30-7:00pm in the children’s area.
Our 4’s will be going to worship on Sunday, August 16th which is also Promotion Sunday. Our 4’s will have an orientation on Wed, Aug 12th at 6pm in the Worship Center.
CDO (Children’s Day Out) will be delayed this Fall due to flooding in the children’s area. We will keep you posted on the new start date. Thank you for your patience during this time.

A big Thank You to all the wonderful adults and youth that jumped in to serve at VBS! We had a wonderful week with terrific kids attending. We had great attendance each day and the kids had so much fun in all our ministry areas of learning. The Children and adults raised $856 for Hill Country Baptist Association and learned about what our Association does to minister in our county and the surrounding area.
Mini Kids Camp is coming up at the end of June and we have wonderful counselors attending with our 1st-3rd Graders. Kid’s Camp is the end of July and we’ve got a great schedule planned for the week.
I cannot thank our volunteers enough for all they do to minister to kids and families! From our ministry events, camps, Wednesday Discipleship and Sunday Bible Studies, we have some of the most amazing teachers and leaders. What a blessing to work with such fabulous adults! If you see any of these terrific adults, thank them for doing such amazing ministry!

Summer is Here!

Summer is here! This spring has gone by quickly and we are in full summer plan mode with VBS scheduled for June 8-11 (Mon-Thur) from 9-Noon. This year’s theme is “Rainforest Falls: Discovering the Nature of God.” If you are interested in ministering to kids in our church and community, please email Kellee at kparish@tbck.org.
Mini Kids Camp (Completed 1st-3rd Grade) is June 29-30 at Alto Frio Baptist Camp in Leakey. We have a great team of adults serving as sponsors this year. There are still openings if you know of someone wanting to attend. The cost is $100. We will need a $25 deposit to save your spot. We will send you the forms needed when we receive the deposit.
Kids Camp (Completed 3rd-5th Grade) is July 20-23 at Alto Frio Baptist Camp in Leakey. We still have space available for kids to attend. Our church does a fantastic job in helping with this camp. Pastor Keith Smith will be back again and our theme is “Wild Ride”.

Children’s Ministry Volunteer
Trinity members volunteering with children includes everything from Extended Session with babies to camp sponsor with preteens. Filling out a volunteer application is required. The application includes giving permission for a background check.
