Primer Time Singers – October 2025

by Doug Lusk

In our church, a Prime Timer is a member age 55 and older. There are a number of Trinity activities that serve and are enjoyed by this seasoned portion of the Trinity Membership. Becoming a member is automatic with coming of age. Participation in any of the scheduled activities is a matter of choice.

Among this age group are men and women who love to sing and who love to worship our Lord through their music. They are known as The Prime Time Singers. Because running a choir requires attention to a host of details, they have a separate organization and slate of officers headed by President Kathryn Ramsey.

This week, the Prime Time Singers started a fresh year of worship with some new songs and a few that were used previously. Weekly rehearsals are held at 10:00 AM each Tuesday.

The main mission of the Prime Time Singers is to have Sing Outs, which are concerts performed monthly at various Care Facilities in Kerrville. The first of these in this new year was sung this past Tuesday at River Point. As usual, it consisted of songs that worship the Lord, plus some that celebrate our Armed Forces and our Country.

The choir is directed by Charlie Barganier and has about forty members. New members would be very welcome. So, If you like to make a joyful noise, come and join the Prime Time Singers.
