Trinity Student Ministry’s (TSM) end goal is to help students (6th-12th Grade) grow in their relationship with God. We do this by teaching them to Grow Roots (Worship), to Grab Hands (Connect), and to Go Wide (Serve).

TSM SUNDAYS

We meet each Sunday morning at 11:00 in The Refinery located on the first floor near the elevator. After grabbing a donut and signing in, we gather together for worship and Bible study. During the school year, our Middle School Circles (Small Groups) meet during this time while High School is in one group in the Forge. For Summer and December we meet with everyone together during this time.
 
We also have a 9:45am Bible Study option in The Refinery for those who choose to attend worship at 8:30am or 11am.
 

 

TSM WEDNESDAYS

TSM WEDNESDAYS are the best day of the week. Doors open each week at 5:30pm for hangout time and we finish at 7pm. At 6pm we start with everyone together for worship, and announcements, then dismiss High School to Circles (more on that shortly). From there, we have a service designed for our Middle Schoolers to connect and challenge them in their Faith. Meanwhile, our High Schoolers meet in Circles (Small Groups) to find community through small group Bible study and accountability.
 
We have willing adults who are more than willing to help point students in the right direction to get connected and involved.
 

 
 
We believe Parents play the most integral part of a student’s faith development. That’s why we aim to equip and listen to our parents. One key element is our “Every Other Week” email newsletter we send out. Student Ministry – September 2026

What an exciting new season! Sports are starting to kick off, Promotion Sunday has brought an amazing group of 6th graders into Student Ministry, and I’m so excited to begin serving as Youth Minister with our families here at TBCK! Each time I’ve met one of our youth, I’ve been so excited and impressed, what a blessing to serve and do life alongside these souls that God loves.
 
As small groups are starting up this fall, there will be a little adjustment from previous circles. Now all small groups will be meeting on Sunday morning at the 11am hour. This is a great time for all youth to lean into relationship, God’s word, and prayer. Wednesday nights will be large group gatherings for 6th through 12th graders at 5:30pm in the youth space. This will be an interactive time of fun, study, and joining together to lead in to what God has for us in this season. With school kicking off, it’s a great time for every family to incorporate these rhythms into their regular weekly schedule. The rhythms we stick with are the ones that shape us!
 
With this new season, I’m continuing to look at how our youth can join in and share the ministry. This could be through things such as reading scripture and praying on Wednesday nights, helping host a game, or many other opportunities that are coming up. If your youth is interested in learning more about serving, let us know and we would love to connect with them.
 
This past week I’ve been thinking about Jesus’ habit of withdrawing from the growing crowds to spend time with the Father (Luke 5:16). How true it is that there is nothing done for God that will last if it is not done with God. He is the source of life, and service flows from a heart filled first by His energy, His heart, and His fruit. As you think of our students, please be in prayer that they would not just know about God, but that they would know Him personally.

Youth Ministry – August 2026

In July, Trinity Student Ministry was blessed to take 56 students and 11 adult sponsors to Horizon Youth Camp in Brownwood for an incredible week of worship, Bible teaching, fellowship, and fun. Throughout the week, our students stepped away from the distractions of everyday life and intentionally focused on growing in their relationship with Christ.
 
Each day was filled with meaningful worship services, engaging small group discussions, and opportunities for students to build lasting friendships while encouraging one another in their faith. It was exciting to watch God work in the lives of our students, not only during the worship services but also through conversations in free time, during meals, and throughout the day’s activities.
 
The greatest reason for celebration is that one student accepted Christ as Savior, beginning a brand-new life in Him. We also had several students make significant spiritual commitments, including decisions to follow the Lord in baptism and others who sensed God calling them into vocational ministry. We are grateful for the work the Holy Spirit accomplished in their hearts and ask our church family to continue praying for them as they take these important next steps in their walk with Christ.
 
A week like this would not have been possible without the investment of our 11 adult volunteers, who gave their time and energy to serve our students. We are also deeply thankful for the prayers and support of our entire church family. Your encouragement and generosity make opportunities like this possible.
 
Thank you for partnering with us in reaching and discipling the next generation. We are excited to see how God continues to grow the seeds that were planted at youth camp in the months and years ahead.

Welcome to Our New Youth Minister

After roughly five months of prayer, discernment, and conversation, the Youth Minister Search Committee is grateful to share that our church has approved Josh Gill as our next Youth Minister. We are deeply thankful for the support, encouragement, and prayers the congregation has offered throughout the process.
 
In our conversations with Josh, it was evident that he has such a passion for creating spaces for people to encounter God and for teaching. Josh comes to us from the H. E. Butt Foundation where he currently serves as the Assistant Director of Laity Lodge Family Camp and has previous experience as a Student & Children’s Ministry Associate Director and a Young Adult Ministry Pastor.
 
We are excited for Josh to step into this role and eager to see how God will use his gifts to bless our students, families, and community. Josh will start in this new role August 9th, which will allow him to finish up the camp season at Laity Lodge and then take some time to reconnect and recuperate with his family.
 
Thank you again for your prayers. Please continue to pray for our students, their families, and our church as we continue through this time of transition.
