New Deacon Selection Church Discussion
Monday, August 26 from 5:30-6:30 pm and Sunday, September 8th from 4:00-5:00 pm Trinity Members will gather in the Worship Center to discuss the selection of individuals to add to the serving deacon body at Trinity Baptist Church.
In preparation for these discussion times, the task force has asked that two papers be available for the church to read.
The papers are from:
Dr. Jim Denison — Should Women Serve As Deacons? Seeking the Word and Will of God and
Todd D. Still, PhD — Women In Ministry: Biblical, Theological & Practical Reflections.
(Hard copies are also available in the church office.)
Both of these papers take the Bible and give great explanation. Please take advantage of these opportunities of preparation as we travel these days together.
