We are on summer break until school starts. During the summer, we meet once a month for dinner and fellowship, including testimony and exercising our “pipes” with worship songs. Each person in our two groups is involved in various ministries in the church like GriefShare, bus transportation, greeting, Mercy Gate ministries, prayer teams and discipleship. We are a very busy lot. When one of us needs special prayer, we will pray, laying hands on that person and not engage in that week’s lesson. We are a very tight-knit group of believers.

 
When we start back this fall, our home group will be finishing up with the book of Joshua and Israel’s trek into the land of “milk and honey”. We use Trinity’s teaching Resource Right Now Media and we take each lesson with a video and then open discussion of the topics for that lesson. It gets a little heated at times, but we get a better view of God’s word through each other’s eyes. We also invite neighbors and friends to our group. Some have no church affiliation and some have joined TBC.
