Women’s Bible Study
Each Wednesday, women from all over our community come together for fellowship and time in God’s Word. The first hour is spent in small discussion groups, which allows women to dive deeper into their weekly studies. The women then watch the video during the noon hour so that others may join in on their lunch hour. Our women have studied Beth Moore, Debbie Williams, and many other well known communicators.

To say that any thoughtful study of this unparalleled book of the Bible is daunting is an understatement. Beth reminds us that she is neither an expert nor a scholar on the Book of Revelation, but a fellow seeker who finds great exhilaration in the study of God’s Word. In these eleven lecture sessions, she has sought the wisdom and knowledge of God-seeking, God-fearing scholars through multiple commentaries and perspectives. God may have meant for parts of this New Testament book of unveiling to retain certain measures of mystery and wonder. His intentional use of symbols and pictures in the divine inspiration to John could support such an implication, particularly as we consider that God sometimes offers an
interpretation in te text and other times does not. God seems to be deliberate about what He doesn’t tell as to what He does. Neither is accidental.
An ardent desire to know God through the study mixed with a humble spirit concocts the best kind of student. Your hopeful purpose is to increase worship, anticipation and, yes, fear of God in willing hearts.
You will find in this study brief weekly assignments to help you keep up your reading and broaden your understanding. By the time you complete these assignments, you will at least have successfully read all 22 chapters. In doing so, you are promised a blessing from the very opening of the Apocalypse, particularly if you “take to heart what is written in it.” (Revelation 1:3) An excerpt from Beth’s introduction.
