Volunteers
There are wonderful opportunities in the youth ministry to serve, and God may be calling you to be a part of one or more! Please pray about them and if you would like more info send me an email at tgarcia@tbck.org.
Sundays @ the Casa Teachers:
Teach and lead a class. Junior High and Senior High classes on Sunday morning at 9:45am. Rotation schedule and curriculum provided.
Power Prayer Team Partners:
Commit to pray for the youth ministry and those involved; you will also get a quarterly letter listing specific prayer needs for the youth ministry.
Doughnut Providers:
Provide 3 dozen doughnuts on Sunday morning. Rotation schedule.
Van Driver:
Must be at least 25 years old and willing to drive a van for our off campus events.
Secret Snack Attack Service:
On Wednesday and Sunday night we like to have food/snacks/drinks for the youth. This will be behind the scenes and servant focused.
Chaperones:
Committed to being an extra set of eyes, hands, ears, and hanging out with the youth on trips and special events near and far.
Media/Video Team:
Youth love media. These positions include taking pictures, and video, editing them, working with video and computer software for making movies.
Drama/Art Team:
In this area you will help facilitate youth to express themselves through drama, painting and other creative expressions. You will also help by participating and guiding the youth.
Techies:
The techies will become increasingly important. A computer moving to the youth house is in the works. We also have a projector and sound equipment. If you like computers the internet and anything with hard-drives then this is the right fit for you.
Worship:
Worship is such an important part of our growth in Christ. We will work together to provide areas of worship for the youth. This will include keeping our prayer room updated.
Smoothie Kings/Queens:
We need people who like making a mean smoothie. Aletheia student ministries will have a smoothie room coming soon and we need operators for Sunday morning. You will make the smoothies and serve them to the youth before Sunday school.
Hands on/Small group Partners:
We are looking for people that are willing to live life alongside teenagers, support them, and love on them. This can include anything from leading a small group, or providing a home to meet in for a bible study!
