Trinity Missions

Historically and currently, missions is a very important aspect of the life of Trinity Baptist Church.  The vision, encouragement and implementation of congregational involvement in missions is coordinated through the Missions Council.  This council is made up of the directors of the following ministries: 

• Women's Missions
• Men's Missions
• Youth Missions
• Children's Missions
• Benevolence
• New Church Development
• Missions Projects
• International Links
• Special Events Coordination

The Missions Director, Linda Worden, who is responsible to the church and the Church Council for the mission ministries, chairs the council.

Trinity Baptist Church has been annually involved with Mexico Missions for over 40 years.  In addition to a summer trip to Mexico, there has recently been a Spring Break Mexico trip to encourage involvement of family groups. 

Individuals and small groups are encouraged to volunteer for organized short-term projects anywhere God calls in the state, nation and outside our borders. 

The church promotes 4 major offerings each year.  Those are North American Missions, Texas Missions, International Missions and Trinity Baptist Church Short-term Missions. 

The Benevolence Committee responds to the needs of people in the community that cannot  be met by other agencies, such as CAM, Salvation Army, Red Cross, etc.  Money is provided for food, rent, utilities or other emergency situations.

Women's Missions meets monthly.

Awana meets Sunday evenings during the school year for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
